With more than 1000 member cities worldwide, ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI) is a global network of cities dedicated to sustainable development. As an official voice of local governments in global sustainable development, climate and biodiversity negotiations, ICLEI is today the leading inter-municipal clearinghouse on local sustainable development, working closely with cities, as well as with national governments, international organisations, business sector and research partners. Activities include pilot projects, training and consultancy, facilitation and event organisation, as well as the development of relevant tools, manuals and guidance, including in the field of sustainable procurement, green urban economy and eco-innovation.
