9 - Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
Innovation play a unique role in enabling industrial competitiveness, research and development, and the provision of infrastructure aligned to the objectives of Sustainable Development. Nonetheless, and contrary to what is commonly assumed, not all green or sustainable innovations are free from negative unintended consequences - e.g. rebound effects in the economy, society and the environment.
In this module you find examples of reports, cases, videos and other materials that illustrate the contribution of innovation for SDG9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Click on the relevant section to find out more.
The i4SDG knowledge repository is a tool open for everybody. You can contribute with materials (specialised or general publications, videos, tools and case studies). Please contact sdgs@inno4sd.net for further information about eligibility and information required, prior to submission.
